event will take place outdoors and will provide

plenty of safe, socially distant activities for you

and your family to enjoy!

Music & Savory Bites

heat of the Smithfield Yule Log in our Pavilion

and enjoy tea with sweet & savory bites

provided by Blue Ridge Mountain Catering,

while listening to holiday tunes performed by

local Blacksburg musicians.

Letter to Santa
Write your letter to Santa to ensure he gets your Christmas wishes, mail it off to the North Pole and visit with Santa Claus himself, while you’re onsite!!
Create a lasting memory by taking part in our Family Holiday Portrait sessions provided by local photographer, Charlie Whitescarver and enjoy Christmas Story Time outside of our Whitethorn Cabin with a costumed interpreter, on the half hour.

Event COVID-19 Information:
Smithfield is included in the Town of Blacksburg's August ordinance, which restricts public gatherings to 50 persons or less. We will abide by this throughout our event and our staff and volunteers will be monitoring site numbers throughout the day. It is possible that you may arrive and be asked to wait until guests leave the event, before you can enter the site. Masks are required for onsite visitors, vendors, staff and volunteers. We will have hand sanitizing stations set up throughout the site and there will be plenty of room for socially distant fun!
